Wow, its been forever again since i posted on this.  Last time I posted I said we had just gone to our long sleeve unifroms.  Well, now we are getting ready to go back to our short sleeve uniforms.  I cant freaking wait. 

Well, the wedding planning is all going good.  In fact we have almost everything done.  I just kinda wanna get it over now.  Is that bad?  I mean i would just like to get the day here so that we can experience everything that took so long to plan. 

Other than the wedding stuff not a whole lot has happened.  Ash and I decided we would stay in the house that my roomate and I have been renting for two years.  The house is kindof old but it is decent and the rent is cheaper than just about anywhere else around here so...I cant believe how much it cost to rent a house or an apt. around here.  It is ridiculous.  I could make a real good house payment back in Mt. Sterling for the price of rent here in Warrenton.

Well, Ashley got a job here in Warrenton.  She will starte in August.  That was a HUGE blessing.  She is going to be teaching 2nd and 3rd grade music at the new 2nd and 3rd grade school in Warrenton.  So, she will have a shorter drive to work and back.  Which means she can be home more and get up later and go to bed later and all that jazz.  also, if she needs to just run into the school for something she can do that and it wont take any time at all.  It really is gonna be good I think.

Hello all...I was talking to my mother tonight and she said that she checks this thing like every day to see if I have posted...Sorry mom...I am not very good at Xanga.  Well, last you heard from me, I had just gotten engaged...Hmmm...well...I am still engaged!  We are doing all the wedding planning stuff now...Well, she is doing the wedding planning stuff and I am kindof sitting back and watching.  I think that this wedding is going to be insane.  We have a wedding planner first of all...I thought only rich people did that in big cities.  Oh well, he is making things a lot easier cause he is making a lot of decisions and taking care of a lot of stuff...Also, we have a string quartet playing at our wedding...CRAZY!  We went and listened to them play today, it was actually pretty cool.  I acted like I hated it though cause I didnt want Ashley to know that I thought the music was kindof cool.  I just wish that they played more up to date stuff.  I am not much into the classical stuff.  Oh well, they sounded good and it might be kindof cool to hear them play at the wedding.  I know Ashley wants it so that is all that matters.  Other than that, I dont really know what else to say.  I have been working quite a bit of extra hours lately.  I signed up to work the MIZ-ZOU football games.  They are taking up a lot of my Saturdays.  It is kindof fun, but they turn into very very very long days.  We just switched to long sleeves on our uniforms and Saturday it was like 83 degress so I sweat like crazy.  Oh well, only two more games left and then hopefully I will have a Saturday off where I can do what I want.

Well, like I said, we are planning a wedding.  If you are reading this, and you know me well enough that you are going to be invited to the wedding...I probably need your address.  If you do know me well enough that you are going to be invited...you probably have my e mail address...So, I would appreciate it if you could send me your mailing address so that I can have it to send you an invitation to the big event.

Thats it folks...I tried to actually make a decent post but I realize that not a lot of people are interested in my stories of my wearing long sleeves in 80 degree weather and sweating...for that, I apologize.

On Friday, September 7th, 2007, I became an engaged man.  I asked Ashley Marie Wells to marry me and she said Yes!  I took her out to a restaurant and we ate some food.  I then took her to a park by the river...it is a very pretty park.  It was a very nice night out, not hot, not cold, the stars were out.  We were sitting on a park bench.  I got down on one know and asked if she would marry me, and again, she said Yes!  So, there ya have it. 

Now comes the...ummm....fun?...part.  Planning the wedding.  We have decided to get hitched on July 12th, 2007.  The wedding will be at Cornerstond Christian Church in Mt. Sterling.  The reception will be at the Ridge View winery immediately following.  As for everything else...I have no idea.  I just know that there is a lot of stuff to do.

Well, once again, it has been quite a while since I have posted.  I dont have any idea what I wrote last time, I should have read it before I started here, but I am sure not a lot has changed...

Anyway, my sister is now in China.  I am now doing her posts on here.  So, that gives me an excuse not to write on mine because I am busy doing hers!  But, I will try to write on here every one in a while.

My job is going good.  Not a lot has happened.  Getting some more drunk people off of the road.  A few misdemeanor drug arrests, but nothing to really talk about.  One cool thing...I get to work security at the Mizzou/Illini football game.  I get to escort the fighting Illini from the state line to the Rams dome, Friday nite and then to their hotel.  then on Saturday, I meet them at their hotel and escort them to the dome again.  During the game, I get a field pass.  From what I am told, I think that I get to stand on the field during the game.  That will be pretty cool.  Anyway, after the game, I escort the team back to the Illinois state line.  I also get to work all of the Mizzou home football games.  The main thing I will be doing is traffic.  But I get to go to all of the games for free.  I guess I just have to walk around and throw drunk people out of the stadium when they get rowdy.  Anyway, if you watch the Mizzou/Illini game on Saturday...look for me.  I will be the short dude with the mout me hat on:)  You cant miss me.

Well, Ash and I are doing really good.  I am so happy to have found her.  She is amazing.  She has started teaching and is enjoying it.  Kindof getting past the really stressed out stage so she can now focus on her job and not her stress.  I think she is going to be good at it.  I always enjoy listening to how her days went when she calls me after school.  It sounds as if she is really enjoying it.

I SUCK AT POSTING

Well, like the title says, i suck at posting.  I havent posted for more than two months.  So, I will understand if no one reads this.  But I have been told by my mother and my auntie that i needed to post again since they LOVE reading about my oh so interesting life!

Anyway, I guess quite a bit has happened since i last posted.  I dont know what I wrote about before so i will just fill in on everything i can think of i guess.

I got a girlfriend.  Yes, I met her on the net, E-Harmony.  Yup, it works.  And it works good.  We met on there and talked for a while.  I finally went to meet her at her college graduation.  Since then, it has all gone good.  She has pretty much spent the whole summer here in Warrenton with me it seems like, and thats a good thing.  We have hit it off really well and things are going awesome.  She is an amazing girl.  She is starting her new job as a music teacher on August 15th in Waynesville, MO, at the Army Base.  She is nervous, and so am I.  We will not get to spend near the time together that we have been but I guess we will see if our relationship can bare the test of distance.  I am sure that it will.

We just spent last weekend up in Peoria, IL, with her family.  It was a great weekend, and from what I hear from her, her parents like me.  We spent a coupla weekends in Mt. Sterling this summer, and I know that my parents like her.  My friends all seem to like her too.

Other than Ashley, I have just been working.  Work is going good.  I am finally off of probation which means i dont have to worry about every little thing that i do wrong. 

I havent really done a whole lot this summer.  I did not have a vacation really.  I wish I would have taken a week off but I didnt.  I dont know when I will get a vacation.  I am saving up all of my time for next year i guess.  But, the way things are going, I will have about 8 weeks to take next year:)  I can do that.

As you all know, my sister is movin back to China.  I will sure miss her but I know that she will enjoy it a lot more there and that this is what she wants so that is cool with me.
